Full Time Floor Manager at Talula's

FLOOR MANAGER, TALULA’S ASBURY PARK

Join our team at Talula’s in Asbury Park!

We are currently seeking a part time (20 - 25 hr/wk) Floor Manager to join the fun and hardworking team at our sourdough pizza restaurant and bar located at the Jersey Shore.

Position Requires:

• Great attitude, team mentality
• Love of food and hospitality
• 3+ years in the restaurant industry
• 1+ year experience with managing a team
• Weekend, Holiday and Summer availability
• Knowledge of cloud based point of sale systems is a plus!

Responsibilities:

• Act as an ambassador and representative in the community
• Attend manager meetings
• Oversees FOH adherence to all health codes
• Creating ambiance and atmosphere during meal service ensuring lighting, candles, music, clean linens, utensils, monitoring food presentation and service
• Managing service and enhancing guest experiences by being the friendliest and most informed person in the room.
• Prepare managerial mise-en-place daily: well-stocked bar and supplies, up to date menus, pre-shift service notes, service game plan
• Provide support and supervision on the floor: From watering tables to identifying regulars to personally connecting with guests
• Ensure clear communication between front of house and back of house
• Take corrective measures to address the hiccups that may arise during service - from changing a light bulb to smoothing guest relations
• Work collaboratively as part of a management team interested in both company-wide and personal growth
