Forklift Operator/Material Handler
West El Paso
$15.00 Per Hour
El Paso’s leading customer in the wire manufacturing industry. Join the team of elites of the position of Material Handler/Forklift Operator. This opportunity is in west El Paso and will be responsible for ensuring material is correctly labeled with the correct lot number and placed in the correct locations.
Requirements
- Transfer raw material both in the computer system and to/from the warehouse, production, shipping/receiving without incurring downtime
- Use barcode scanner(s) to verify material part numbers and locations
- Perform forklift inspections
- Maintain material and product documentation per requirements
- Assist with scheduled facility inventories
- Observe all plant and safety rules
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts with rotating days off
- Ability to work 7:00am to 7:00pm and/or 7:00pm to 7:00am
- Forklift License (training or qualification)
- Basic Math
- Computer knowledge
- Analytical ability
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Education
High school diploma, or equivalent (required)
Pay Rate
$15.00 per hour – Days
$15.55 per hour – Nights
