We are a growing litigation defense firm seeking an associate attorney with 1-3 years (or more) of litigation experience. Candidates should have experience litigating matters involving negligence, premises liability, transportation, construction, insurance coverage and/or contract disputes. Insurance defense or coverage experience is a plus.

Our top-tier law firm is looking to hire a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of litigation matters, including premises liability, transportation, construction, insurance coverage, contract disputes, and insurance defense. Responsibilities:

As our Permanent Associate Attorney, you will be expected to:

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of litigation, including taking and defending depositions, attending court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
2. Handle matters in the areas of premises liability, transportation, construction, insurance coverage, contract disputes, and insurance defense.
3. Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, motions, briefs, reports, etc.
4. Develop and implement litigation strategies, in consultation with senior attorneys, to effectively resolve cases in a cost-effective manner.
5. Provide legal advice and guidance to clients, ensuring their understanding of complex legal matters.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and industry trends that may impact our clients.
7. Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, and work diligently to meet or exceed their expectations.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Permanent Associate Attorney position, you should possess the following:

1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, with a specific focus on premises liability, transportation, construction, insurance coverage, contract disputes, and insurance defense.
4. Proven experience in Commercial and Civil Litigation.
5. Exceptional research and writing skills, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Strong negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, judges, opposing counsel, and team members.
8. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines, with strong organizational and time management skills.
9. High ethical standards and professionalism.
