The GEA Group is searching for our next Senior Manager - Compressor Workshop and Warehouse Operations to join our team in York, PA! The Workshop and Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the workshop and warehouse operations. This includes managing staff, maintaining inventory levels, ensuring quality control, and optimizing processes for efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a background in workshop and warehouse management.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, including scheduling, workflow management, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Manage workshop and warehouse staff, including mechanics and support staff. This includes hiring, training, and performance management. Ensure that staff are properly trained in warehouse operations and safety procedures.
Ensure that all work meets quality standards and customer expectations. Implement quality control processes as needed.
Manage inventory of parts, tools, and supplies. This includes ordering, stocking, and maintaining appropriate levels of inventory.
Interact with customers to understand their needs, provide updates on work progress, and address any concerns or issues.
Create and management quotations for services to be rendered by the workshop.
Develop and manage the workshop budget, including tracking expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring profitability.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as OSHA and ISO. This includes staying up to date with changes in regulations and implementing necessary changes in warehouse operations.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in the workshop and warehouse operations. Implement changes to improve overall performance.
Manage warehouse inventory, including receiving, storing, and issuing goods. This includes maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular audits.
Optimize warehouse space for efficient storage and retrieval of goods. This may involve reorganizing layout, shelving, or storage systems.
Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders. Coordinate with other departments, such as sales and logistics, to meet customer requirements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Your Profile / Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree inbusinessadministration, procurement,or another technical related field
At leastfiveyears of experienceinscheduling, coordination of group activities in an industrial environment or related experience

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $85,100.00 - $107,000.00 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.
The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
