Job Summary





Essential Functions

• Provide tours for K-12 student groups


• Attend Outreach events and help with tasks such as set-up and take down at events, check-in, greeting guests, creating name tags, etc.


• Assist with the development of an Outreach Ambassador manual


• Assist with scheduling of meetings and trainings for Outreach Ambassadors


• Assist with the oversight of the Outreach Ambassador calendar and digital sign-up sheet


• Consult with staff within University Outreach to determine how Outreach Ambassadors can represent and/or assist with programming throughout the academic year

Minimum Qualifications

• Auburn University student in good standing

• The ability to work independently and as a team


• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills


• Proficient computer skills (Adobe, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Zoom, Canva, Google Docs and Forms)


• Able to represent the Division of Auburn University Outreach in a professional manner
