Warehouse Team Lead

Shift: First Shift, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21/hour (contract to hire!)

What You’ll Do

• Conduct startup meetings

• Direct tasks, guide, and instruct employees

• Monitor daily accumulation of waste and recyclables

• Work with the Supervisor to track inventory and schedule shipments

• Ensure all containers are properly labelled and stored safely

• Ensure all empty drums and pails are disposed of properly

• Direct the loading and unloading of Van Trailers of recyclables and waste

• Direct cleaning and maintenance duties

• Know the job duties of each direct report and fill in when a team member is out

• Perform special tasks assigned by Management

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent working experience

• Good mathematical, clerical, and communication skills

• Experience working outdoors is a must

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis

• Ability to lead with safety, ethics, and respect in the workplace
