Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) - Part-time

We're looking for a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our close-knit team at Cottonwood Dental Practice. This part-time role (25–30 hours/week) is ideal for a candidate with a passion for dentistry and a warm, bilingual presence. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality care while supporting the dentist and helping children feel at ease during their visit. The right candidate is organized, compassionate, and excited to make a difference.

💼 Responsibilities

• Provide chairside support during dental procedures
• Prepare rooms and sterilize equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays
• Operate 3D scanners for imaging needs
• Document and maintain patient records
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Monitor vital signs during procedures as needed
• Assist with endodontic treatments
• Support younger patients with empathy and patience
• Ensure the clinic remains clean, organized, and stocked

🎯 Skills & Qualifications

• Texas RDA license — required
• Spanish-speaking or bilingual — strongly preferred
• Familiarity with dental terminology and anatomy
• Experience or interest in pediatric care
• Proficiency in X-ray techniques and 3D scanner operation
• Ability to monitor vital signs and maintain aseptic standards
• Strong interpersonal skills, especially with children
• High attention to detail and professionalism

🕒 Work Schedule

• Set weekday hours (consistent with Cottonwood Dental Practice’s operating schedule)
• One Saturday/month: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
