Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital Seeks Director, Pediatric Residency
Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital is seeking a Director, Pediatric Residency responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for SBCH's Pediatric Residency Program. The role involves working with the hospital's executive leadership, faculty, and residents to achieve educational and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the development, maintenance, review, delivery, coordination, and assessment of all aspects of the Pediatrics Residency training curriculum.
- Participating in clinical teaching and supervision of Pediatrics Residents in inpatient and ambulatory settings.
Qualifications:
All listed qualifications represent the minimum requirements for proficient performance.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- California Medical License
- Drug Enforcement Administration license
- Board Certification in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, with Maintenance of Certification
- Medical Staff membership at SBCH
Years of Related Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience, including active participation in a Pediatrics Teaching Residency and at least attending in a Residency program.
