  • Job Summary:
    • Responsible for coordinating and managing various revenue cycle initiatives and projects to optimize daily work activities and the use of Meditech, revenue cycle applications and other technology in operations and workflows identified by senior management.
  • Education:
    • High school diploma and 5 years of relevant experience required; college degree preferred
  • Registration/Certification/Licensure:
    • None required.
  • Experience:
    • Position requires 3 to 5 years of experience in revenue cycle operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, with specific experience in Patient Access, Patient Financial Services, Physician Billing Services and knowledge of Medical Record processes.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
    • Ability to follow directions and to perform work according to standards with minimum guidance. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office products to create reports and assist management in executive level presentations. Demonstrated critical thinking skills in problem solving of complicated issues. Strong people/interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management in multiple disciplines. Able to prioritize needs and effectively manage resources. Able to work in fast paced environment with multiple, changing priorities. Knowledge of growth, development and assessment of staffing needs for appropriateness and competency. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
