Cost Accountant - Now Hiring

Our client, a well-established manufacturer and government contractor, is seeking a Cost Accountant to support their expanding operations. This is a newly created position designed to take over cost accounting responsibilities currently managed by the CFO, allowing them to shift focus toward broader operational initiatives.

100% on-site!

Salary: $90,000 - $105,000

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with a strong focus in cost accounting and manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor experience is a plus, not required).
• Exposure to DCAA/FAR or government contracting is a plus, but not required-client is willing to train.

• Own and manage all cost accounting functions.
• Analyze and report on manufacturing costs, variances, and margins.
• Partner with the CFO and Controller to support financial reporting and operations.
• Assist in streamlining accounting processes and implementing best practices.
• Help the company better align financial systems with operational need.
