Direct Support Professional

At North Eastern Services, we are looking for a dedicated caregiver to care for individuals with special needs in a professional and compassionate manner, and you'll truly love every second of it! In this position, you'll build relationships, improve the quality of life and serve intellectually disabled individuals with the biggest hearts imaginable. Your compassion and diligence as a caregiver will bring joy into the lives of the clients you work with!

No experience necessary, all training is provided for you! We offer schedule flexibility as well.

An ideal candidate for this position will be able to follow schedules and treatment plans, reliability and provide excellent care, display excellent communication skills and positive attitudes.

Caregiver requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Be able to pass a full criminal background check and drug screening.
• Must have a valid ID or Driver's license and Social Security for background.

Basic Responsibilities:

• Maintain safety of the clients
• Teach activities of daily living to improve their knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Preparing and serving meals while following dietary guidelines.
• Daily documentation/Medication administration.
• Encourage and assist clients to have a clean environment and healthy lifestyle.

Schedules:

• Sunday-Saturday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
• Sunday-Saturday 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
• Sunday-Saturday 11:00 pm - 9:00 am
