Interventional Cardiologist, Locums - Georgia - Easy Call Coverage

Interventional Cardiology locums assignment in Georgia with 24-hour call just one week per month.

Highlights:

• Only 1 week/month of 24-hour call; enjoy more off-time
• Bread-and-butter interventional coverage; no clinic duty
• Open to IMLC physicians

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient-only setting with adult patients
• Coverage shared between two facilities 30 minutes apart
• NPs available for support
• Epic charting system

Schedule:

• 24-hour call shifts (7 AM-7 AM)
• One week per month, plus PRN PTO and holiday coverage
• Light in-person demands; many issues managed by phone

Cases and Procedures:

• Inpatient cardiology consults (11-25/day), echo reads ( 25/day), TEEs, EKG and monitor interpretation
• Bread-and-butter interventional cases only
• No outpatient clinic visits required

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years) in Cardiology
• Active Georgia license or IMLC
• BLS and DEA certifications required
