pDescription/ppstrongEssential Purpose/strong: To prepare and serve artisan craft cocktails and beverages to restaurant guests./ppbr//ppstrongEssential Duties/strong:nbsp;/pulliTo understand and respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner and to strictly comply with service standards established for the restaurant./liliTo extend a courteous, friendly and professional greeting to guests as they arrive and to thank them as they depart./liliTo be completely familiar with company beverage line, drink recipes, and prices./liliTo provide properly and artfully craft cocktails and other beverages, as requested, to the guests and restaurant servers./liliTo maintain adequate stock of beverages and bar supplies, in accordance with established pars./liliTo maintain at all times an adequate stock of clean bar glassware./liliTo review and verify previous shifts inventory, at the beginning of every shift./liliTo follow all specified procedures to ensure all drinks are rung in through MICROS before serving, and accurately process all payments/liliTo follow all specified procedures to provide prompt, efficient, and gracious customer service to bar guests, including artfully describing menu items, taking and serving food orders, and opening, closing, and presenting guest checks./liliTo satisfactorily perform, as directed, all routine opening and closing side duties including preparing dessert trays, folding napkins, and stocking and pre-set up of kitchen to facilitate meal service./liliTo supervise bar back to ensure all glassware are properly cleaned, polished and stocked./liliTo follow all specified procedures to correctly handle all credit card, and gift card transactions and to correctly use the Micros POS system./liliTo maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly the prohibition of service to minors./lilifollow TIPS procedures and guidelines as established by the ABC./liliTo follow all policies and procedures of Temecula Creek Inn/liliTo immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.nbsp;/liliTo maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas at all times.nbsp;/liliTo practice safe work habits at all times, to avoid injury to self and others.nbsp;/liliTo comply with company and departmental safety rules and regulations, including the proper handling of all relevant equipment./liliTo attend all mandatory meetings, as directed.nbsp;/liliTo perform other tasks, including cross-training, as directed./li/ulpbr//ppRequirements/ppbr//ppstrongKnowledge + Education/strong: High school diploma or equivalent required. English fluency required. Must have minimum one year similar experience. Must know fundamentals of beverage mixing, inventory and pars, and glass types and uses, and have large drink recipe knowledge. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages. Certified in alcohol awareness and handling program. Experience with Micros Computer systems preferred. Current CPR certification preferred.
