pDescription/ppAs a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to our residents, assisting with activities of daily living, promoting their independence and ensuring their comfort and well-being.nbsp;/ppbr//ppstrongNight Shift (10pm-6am)/strong/ppbr//ppemstrongPrimary Responsibilities and Duties:nbsp;/strong/em/pulliProvide direct care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.nbsp;/liliAssist residents with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting and position techniques to ensure their safety and comfort.nbsp;/liliMonitor residents’ vital signs, intake and output, and report any changes or concerns to the nursing team.nbsp;/liliAssist with resident admission, transfers, and discharges, including orienting new residents to their surroundings and helping them settle into their rooms.nbsp;/liliSupport residents' social and recreational activities by engaging them in meaningful interactions, escorting them to group activities and providing companionship. nbsp;/liliMaintain a clean and organized living environment for residents, including making beds, tidying rooms, and ensuring cleanliness and infection control standards are met.nbsp;/liliAssist with resident dining services, including meal set-up, feeding assistance, and recording food and fluid intake as directed.nbsp;/liliDocument care provided and resident observations accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.nbsp;/liliParticipate in educational opportunities and training programs to maintain CNA verification and enhance skills and knowledge in geriatric care.nbsp;/liliAssist new CNA team members with training and getting actuated with policies, procedures and the layout of the facility.nbsp;/liliParticipate in team meetings and contribute to resident care planning and goal setting.nbsp;/liliContribute to a positive and supportive work environment by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and effective communication skills.nbsp;/liliPerform all other duties assigned./li/ulpRequirements/ppemstrongJob Qualifications:nbsp;/strong/em/pulliCurrent certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in the state you work.nbsp;/liliCPR certification./liliPrior experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar medical setting preferred but not required./liliAbility to build rapport with residents through a compassionate and caring demeanor./liliCommitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care with empathy and compassion.nbsp;/liliStrong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning and intervention implementation.nbsp;/li/ulpemstrongPhysical Requirements:/strong/em/pulliWork performed in a medical setting due to the need to care for residents in person.nbsp;/liliMust be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, stretch, and twist./liliStamina to stand and move about the facility to perform frequent rounds and respond to emergent situations as needed.nbsp;/liliEmotional resilience and ability to cope with the physical and emotional demands of working with residents who may have complex healthcare needs.nbsp;/liliCapability to lift and transfer residents safely, with proper body mechanics and assistance as needed.nbsp;/liliRequired vision includes close, vision, distance, peripheral, and the ability to adjust focus.nbsp;/liliMaintain regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work schedule designated by the department supervisor/manager./liliThe job requires accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.nbsp;/liliThe ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without "giving out" or fatiguing./liliThe ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position./liliThe ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects./li/ulpstrongSchedule:/strong/pulliNight Shift/lili10pm-6am/li/ul
