Quality Process Owner - Night Shift

sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Testing is performed both at the line/floor location as well as in the lab. /span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Performs various tests to ensure the safety of our process and products. /spanspan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Tests may include such things as the following:/span ul lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Evaluating raw material/span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Moisture analysis/span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Temperature analysis/span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Checking bag and box codes/Gold Case/Box Cutouts/span/li /ul /li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Ensuring the correct information is stamped on the bags and boxes such as codes, dates, and other necessary information./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Confirming accuracy of bag weights, O2 levels, blend ratios and the like./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Analyzing metal detection rejects, performs leaker testing and foreign object identification./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Performing equipment calibration as needed to ensure accuracy of readings./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Collecting and analyzing water samples./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Performing PA and PH testing./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Performing microbiological analysis of product (using petrifilm) according to company and customer specifications./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Performing microbiological analysis of environmental samples according to company and customer specifications./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Conduction follow-up on out-of-spec results./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Placing product on hold as needed./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Independently set up workstations as needed to enable timely release of product to next phase of production./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Documenting various activities per SOPs./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Document findings using a variety of forms i.e. paper tracking computer entry, electronic scanners, etc./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Support QA by performing other tasks as assigned to support the lab or floor activities./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness in measurements and testing protocol./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Responsible for actively supporting the other members of the employee's work team including assisting with cross-training, new-hire/buddy assignments, and process support during breaks, meal periods, and other staff coverage as needed./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Employees may infrequently be assigned to perform other tasks on a temporary basis./span/li /ul pstrongspan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Qualifications:/span/strong/p ul lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, simple formulas and conversions. /span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Able to accurately use a calculator. /span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Stand for the duration of the shift (8 hours or more), perform repetitive motions throughout the shift such as push/pull/lift, twist, stoop, and bend continuously through the shift./span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Climb stairs or step up onto a platform several times throughout the shift. /span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Required to lift 15 to 65 pounds and must be able to move boxes (lift/carry/pull/push objects), from the production line or pallet for quality checks as needed. /span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Must be able to work in a noisy, wet, and cold environment of approximately 30-34 degrees Fahrenheit. /span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Able to work with various chemicals used in our processing activities and be capable of decision-making/span/li lispan style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"Flexible and able any shift including overtime, weekends, and holidays./span/li /ul p
