And you’ll get to practice your passion  in a non-profit, mission-driven organization that’s known for the highest level of care in our communities/pp style="text-align:inherit"/pp style="text-align:inherit"/ph1/h1pbFulltime /b/ppPay: $40 to $47/ppShift differentials evenings, nights and weekends/ppManagement add on pay/ppWeekly pay/ppbBenefits Offered:/b/pulliPaid time off with ability to cash out/lili7 paid Holidays/liliMedical Insurance/liliDental Insurance/liliVision Insurance/liliCompany Paid Life and Disability/lili401(k)  with match/liliReferral Bonus Program/li/ulp/ph1/h1h1/h1h1ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/h1ullispanAssessment and documentation of patient condition./span/lilispanOperation of oxygen equipment including turning off and on, changing cylinder heads, cleaning/replacing humidifier and other as necessary./span/liliOperations of suction machine (oral) including cleaning, selection of appropriate suction catheter and storage./liliOperations and use of manual respirator./liliLocation and use of emergency equipment supplies (box and/or crash cart etc.)./liliOperation of whirlpool./liliOperation of scales./liliOperation of glucose monitoring devices, calibration and cleaning etc./liliUse of electronic thermometers (oral/rectal and ear)./liliDelivery of medications (setting up, rotating, charting, ordering, giving to patients, etc.)./liliOrdering and use of stock drugs./liliAdministration and documentation of insulin./liliUse and delivery of PRN medications./liliUse and delivery of topical treatment application (eye, ear, nose, etc.)./liliUse, delivery and documentation of narcotic medication./liliReceiving drugs from pharmacy in accordance with established procedures./liliApplication of sterile dressings./liliOperation and proper use of pressure reduction surfaces./liliUse of oral airway./liliKnowledge of isolation procedures (where to implement etc.)./liliKnowledge of location and proper use of personal protective equipment (gloves, masks, gowns and aprons etc.)./liliDelivery of enemas (Samp;S and fleets)./liliInsertion, irrigation and routine care of male/female catheters./liliDelivery of tube feedings (insertion, flushing, proper amounts etc.)./liliKnowledge of procedures and ability to determine Advance Directive status for patients./liliCollection of lab specimens and interpreting results./liliIV implementation and administration./liliSeizure precautions and administration of IV medication during a seizure./liliAdmits, discharges and transfers patients as requested./liliDocumentation and billing of supplies used./liliSends patients to the hospital as necessary./liliKnowledge of procedures to follow if unable to reach physician./liliProvides oversight and direction unlicensed nursing personnel./liliMakes compliance rounds and reporting any pertinent issues./liliMaintains effective lines of communication with attending physicians./liliAssists the Director of Nursing Services to coordinate the care planning/MDS process and committee meetings as necessary./liliParticipates in patient screening and selection process as requested./liliAssists the Director of Nursing Services in follow-up on consultant recommendations, i.e., pharmacy, dietary, etc./liliProvides demonstration/education as necessary for unlicensed nursing personnel to perform job./liliCompletes documentation procedures on patients (appropriate use of forms, timelines, and Medicare documentation etc.)./lilispanPromotes the image and reputation of the System by exhibiting servant leadership and providing direct and open lines of communication. /span/lilispanContributes to the work of committees, workgroups, project management, and other collaborative efforts of the System./span/lilispanPerforms other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the System./span/li/ulh1/h1h1SKILLS AND ABILITIES/h1ulliProficient in using a computer, especially Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point./liliExcellent organizational and prioritizing skills required/liliEffective and professional verbal, and written communication skills/liliCommunicates well with other associates, patients, family members, and visitors providing warm and friendly greeting and an approachable attitude.
