S/he coordinates with other members of the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, maximal coordination of efforts, and active patient participation in planning and care. lispanspanDemonstrated clinical competence in the direct care of patients in established area(s) of practice, and assisting MDs with the overall care of the patient/span/span/li
lispanspanKnowledge of clinical duties within scope of practice complying with the accepted Optum and/or individual department standards, policies, and protocols /span/span/li
lispanspanDemonstrates a proactive approach to patient care, focusing on addressing each patient’s individual and family needs throughout their care; communicates identified needs in a timely manner /span/span/li
lispanspanClinical knowledge of assisting physician/mid-level healthcare professional and/or nurse during exams and office diagnostic procedures/treatments /span/span/li
lispanspanSeeks validation/guidance from physicians, mid-level healthcare professional and/or nurse when necessary /span/span/li
lispanspanspanspanDemonstrates quality communication and organization skills with a strong understanding of timelines and deadlines/span/span/span/span/li
lispanspanPrepares e-prescriptions for processing to pharmacies when instructed to do so by physician/span/spanspan spanand via requests from the interface, MyChart portal, or patient messages per Optum's Medical policy /span/span/li

pspanspanThe hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
