This position focuses on structural reinforcement, minor fabrication, and the restoration of worn or damaged units under supervision. The B Welder must be reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced industrial environment./span/p Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.: ullispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Perform MIG welding, stick welding and torch cutting on steel containers and compactors following basic repair instructions./span/lilispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Assist in structural repairs such as lid attachment, bottom plate patching, caster bracket welding, and frame reinforcement./span/lilispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Grind and clean welds to ensure proper finish and functionality./span/lilispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Operate hand tools and basic fabrication equipment under supervision./span/lilispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Support the team in container inspections and identification of weld-related defects./span/lilispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Adhere to all company safety policies and welding procedures./span/lilispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist in equipment maintenance./span/lilispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Report any material shortages, damaged equipment, or safety hazards to supervisor promptly./span/lilispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Document completed repairs and work performed when required./span/lilispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Assist senior welders or fabricators on more complex builds as needed./span/li/ul Requirements and Qualifications:: ullispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Basic MIG welding, stick welding and torch cutting experience or completion of a welding training program./span/lilispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Ability to follow verbal instructions, work orders, or simple repair sketches./span/lilispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Understanding of basic hand and power tools used in metal repair./span/lilispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Physically capable of lifting heavy parts, standing, bending, and working in indoor and outdoor conditions./span/lilispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to work well with others./span/lilispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Commitment to safety and quality workmanship at all times./span/lilispan style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required./span/li/ulp style="margin: 0px;" /pp style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"strongWork Environment/strong/span/pp style="margin: 0px;"span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"This position requires working outdoors and in a shop environment.
