liPromote trust and respect among associates./li
liCommunicate company, department, and job specific information to associates./li
liCollaborate with associates and promote teamwork to help achieve company/store goals./li
liCreate an environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products sold within the department and throughout the store./li
liGain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the departments and be able to respond to questions and make suggestions about products./li
liMonitor and control supply expenses for the department./li
liManage cash control, sales and cash items and records for the store./li
liManage the scheduling of Front-end associates to provide adequate department coverage./li
liAssist store management in preparing the store/department budget, profit and loss reviews, and take appropriate action on all financial reports./li
liDevelop and implement a department business plan to achieve desired results./li
liCreate and execute sales promotions in partnership with store management./li
liImplement the period promotional plan for the department./li
liStay current with present, future, seasonal and special ads./li
liMonitor and control expenses for the department./li
liMaintain an awareness of inventory/stocking conditions; note any discrepancies in inventory.nbsp;/li
liSchedule daily, weekly and monthly price changes by updating shelf tags and promotional signs./li
liPlan, organize and supervise the inventory process./li
liTrain department associates on inventory/stocking and Computer Assisted Ordering.nbsp;/li
liAdhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines./li
linbsp;Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions and notify store management./li
linbsp;Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair./li
liNotify management of customer or employee accidents.nbsp;/li
liReport all safety risks or issues, and illegal activity, including: robbery, theft or fraud./li
liOversee and manage the efficient operations of all functions and activities of the Front-end.nbsp;/li
liAdhere to all local, state and federal laws, and company guidelines./li
liAssists management in the supervision and coaching of front end associates in the performance of their duties.nbsp;/li
liMust be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation./li
