If you’re looking for an exciting opportunity with a company that is clearly going places, join us at GXO./p p /p pstrongWhat you’ll do on a typical day:/strong/p pInventory Management/p ul liReceive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming inventory, including racks amp; trays, networking equipment, and other hardware/li liMaintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation for all items received and shipped/li liPerform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies/li /ul pShipping and Receiving/p ul liCoordinate with suppliers and carriers to schedule inbound and outbound shipments/li liPrepare shipping documents, labels, and packaging for outgoing shipments/li liUpload, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness/li liTransport inventory by hand using material handling equipment (i.e. pallet jacks) in accordance with all safety procedures and protocol/li /ul pFacility Maintenance/p ul liMaintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage areas and shipping/receiving docks/li liAssist with the disposal of packaging materials and obsolete equipment as needed/li /ul pCompliance and Safety/p ul liAdhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment./li liCompile with Data Center security measures and access controls/li /ul pSupport and Collaboration/p ul liCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including data center operations, procurement, and technical support, to fulfill inventory and logistics needs/li liProvide support for special projects or initiatives as directed by management/li liComplete other duties that may be assigned as required with consideration for quality, safety and efficiency/li /ul pAssembly/p ul liAssist in the setup and installation of computer server racks according to provided instructions/li liHelp in the assembly of server racks by following diagrams and guidelines provided by senior team members/li liHandle basic tools and equipment safely and effectively to complete installation tasks./li liSupport senior technicians in cable management and organization within the server racks/li /ul p /p pstrongWhat you need to succeed at GXO:  /strong/p pAt a minimum, you’ll need: /p ul liTo be at least 18 years of age/li liHigh school diploma or equivalent/li li1 year of experience in logistics, inventory management, or related fields/li liFamiliarity with inventory management systems and software, as well as proficiency in using basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word)/li liThe ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator/li liAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents/li liFamiliarity with proper lifting techniques and the use of material handling equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks/li /ul pIt’d be great if you also have: /p ul liAdditional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field/li liStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment/li liExcellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively and safely in a team setting/li liEnsure a positive, respectful, and professional attitude if everything you do/li liAvailability to work a flexible schedule, including possible overtime when needed /li /ul pThis job requires the ability to:/p ul liAbility to lift and move heavy material and perform physical tasks related to handling server trays and server racks/li liUse power equipment to assist the team with safely moving very heavy server racks into position in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines/li /ulp /p pspan style="font-size:16.0px"span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
