This position offers enormous opportunity for broad exposure to research and clinical activities including genetic counseling and is a wonderful fit for someone who is interested in pursuing an advanced degree in such areas as medicine, basic science, genetic counseling, neuropsychology, etc. in the future.br /br /bWhat you will do/b/pulliClinical / Program Coordination/liliCoordinate and track clinical, program or research activities./liliServe as the main point of contact for activities./liliAssist with the review, editing and submission of documentation including grants, manuscripts, galleys, proofs, articles, publications and presentations./liliAssist in the maintenance and improvement of protocols and processes./liliAssist with financial functions including budgets, reimbursements, invoices, expenses, purchase orders, renewals, funding, variances and financial reports./liliMaintain systems, databases, procedures, and websites for records and reporting./liliMaintain program metrics and related tools and regularly reports results./liliCoordinate information collection, compilation and dissemination as required./liliAdministrative Support/liliPrepare and coordinate meetings, interviews, committees, conferences and calendars including schedules, travel, agendas and minutes./liliPrepare presentations, letters, reports, memoranda, and related materials./liliAssist in message creation and development including website content, fact sheets, correspondences, emails, lectures, social media posts and other formats./liliTrack and manage materials and inventory, and coordinate supply purchasing/liliOther duties and administrative support projects as assigned./li/ulp/ppbEducation Qualifications/b/pulliHigh School Diploma / GED - Required/liliBachelor#39;s Degree in a scientific discipline - Preferred/li/ulp/ppbExperience Qualifications/b/pulliAt least one (1) year of research, coordination or administrative experience - Required/liliPrevious experience in a healthcare related environment - Preferred/li/ulp/ppbSkills and Abilities/b/pulliFamiliarity with HIPAA regulations (Preferred proficiency)/liliBasic proficiency with electronic medical record software (EPIC) (Preferred proficiency)/liliIntermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (Preferred proficiency)/liliStrong verbal and written communications skills (Required proficiency)/liliStrong customer service skills (Required proficiency)/liliStrong interpersonal skills (Required proficiency)/liliSolid time management skills (Required proficiency)/liliSolid organizational skills (Required proficiency)/liliAbility to maintain confidentiality and professionalism (Required proficiency)/liliAbility to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels (Required proficiency)/li/ulpbr / /ppbTo carry out its mission, CHOP is committed to supporting the health of our patients, families, workforce, and global community.
