p style="margin-left:0px"spanProvide direct and indirect physical therapy services as outlined in students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or Section 504 plans./span/p
p style="margin-left:0px"spanConduct assessments of gross motor skills, functional mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and postural control for students referred for special education evaluation to help determine eligibility for services./span/p
p style="margin-left:0px"spanParticipate in the IEP/Section 504 process, providing input on assessment measures, intervention strategies, and student progress./span/p
p style="margin-left:0px"spanCollaborate as a member of the special education team to deliver comprehensive services to students with disabilities./span/p
p style="margin-left:0px"spanConsult with teachers, school administrators, parents, and relevant stakeholders regarding students’ physical development, mobility needs, and accessibility accommodations./span/p
p style="margin-left:0px"spanWork closely with teachers and staff to integrate physical therapy strategies into the school environment and support students' participation in academic and non-academic activities./span/p
p style="margin-left:0px"spanProvide training to staff and caregivers on safe and effective positioning, transfers, adaptive equipment use, and mobility strategies./span/p
p style="margin-left:0px"spanDevelop, implement, evaluate, and adjust physical therapy interventions in collaboration with school staff and parents./span/p
p style="margin-left:0px"spanUtilize treatment strategies that promote functional mobility, strength, balance, endurance, coordination, and overall independence in the school setting./span/p
p style="margin-left:0px"spanRecommend, modify, and monitor adaptive equipment and assistive devices to enhance students' physical access and participation./span/p
p style="margin-left:0px"spanMaintain an accurate record of student caseload requirements and update the Special Education Administrator on any changes./span/p
p style="margin-left:0px"spanMaintain a detailed schedule and service logs, and track student progress toward therapy goals./span/p
p style="margin-left:0px"spanDemonstrate professionalism in handling confidential matters and materials./span/p
