Other components may include bonuses, special pay programs, comprehensive time off, 401k with match and a full suite of benefit offerings for you and your family./p p /p pThe Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for proactively maintaining operation of machinery and mechanical equipment thru preventive/predictive maintenance. /p /div div p /p /div div pJob Responsibilities  /p /div div ul li pAssist to install and service different pieces of equipment, using required self-supplied and company-supplied hand tools /p /li li pPerform assigned preventive maintenance task /p /li li pMoving and raising components using hoists, dollies, or other provided equipment /p /li li pUpdating daily work communications /p /li li pMaintain tools, powered vehicles, and equipment; keep parts and supplies in order /p /li li pResponsible for a clean and hazard free work area throughout the entire day /p /li li pUse and maintain safety equipment on job sites /p /li li pOther duties as business needs /p /li li pAbility to follow applicable safety and environment requirements, food safety, GMP’s /p /li li pExecute job order assignments and keep accurate job order records. /p /li li pPerform other duties as assigned /p /li /ul /div div p /p /div div pExperience Skills  /p /div div ul li p1-3 years' experience preferred /p /li li pMechanically inclined /p /li li pBasic mechanics and electrical knowledge /p /li li pComputer and technology aptitude /p /li li pMust be able to read and understand various methods of mechanical and other technical drawings. /p /li li pBasic knowledge on the correct use and care of various tools used in maintenance work /p /li li pMust be able to follow procedures as outlined in equipment manufacturer's maintenance manual /p /li li pBasic knowledge on how to gas, arc, and/or TIG weld /p /li li pBasic knowledge on diagnosing equipment failures and correct them /p /li li pShould be familiar with air compressors, various pumps, boilers, and other common mechanical equipment /p /li /ul /div div p /p /div div pEducation  /p /div div ul li pHigh School Diploma or the equivalent of a GED or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired through on the job training or experience /p /li /ul /div div p /p /div div pWork Environment /p /div div ul li pMust be able to climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crawl, and stand for long periods of time /p /li li pAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. for short distances /p /li li pComfortable working with heights and confined spaces /p /li li pComfortable working in non-climate-controlled environment /p /li /ul /div div p /p /div
