This position acts as a representative of YFAI and is responsible for assisting Quality with any daily organizational work, including quality-related activities at customer locations and reviewing / analyzing part and process conformity./span/p pnbsp;/p puEssential functions of the job:/u/p ul lispanPerform job functions in accordance with YF iOS policies and procedures and any OEM-specific requirements./span/li lispanReport quality related information/issues identified at customer locations to the manufacturing facility./span/li lispanContainment/sorting/rework activities, including communication of clean points and other activities as needed.nbsp;/span/li lispanObtain shipping documents for parts that need to be returned to the plant for analysis./span/li lispanSupport customers with troubleshooting and root cause analysis for issues requiring further investigation. Support the comprehensive continuous improvement (CI) philosophy for all YFAI disciplines; participate in CI activities such as process improvements, improving non-conforming flow, separating and recycling non-conforming material and the activities designed to reduce the cost of poor quality (i.e., Kaizen, cross functional task force teams, etc.)./span/li lispanAll other duties as assigned.nbsp;/span/li lispanComplies with all YFAI and OEM safety policies and procedure.nbsp;/span/li /ul puRequired Education:/u/p ul lispan1 -3 Years of Experience with direct customer contact and project management.nbsp;/span/li lispan1-3 Years of Experience within the automotive industry./span/li lispanMust be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.nbsp;/span/li lispanUnderstanding of quality functions: customer service, metrology, auditing, and quality analysis techniques.
