Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions and ensure compliance with GAAP, Medicaid, and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present financial statements and reports to the Board of Trustees and executive leadership.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and provide financial guidance to department heads.
• Ensure compliance with employee benefit plans, Medicaid/Medicare regulations, and nonprofit reporting requirements (e.g., 990, 5500).
• Maintain internal controls and participate in vendor/contract negotiations.
• Supervise the Accounting Department and support team development and performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required); CPA in Ohio (required)
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit regulations, Medicaid/third-party payers
• Leadership experience with proven ability to communicate complex financial information to diverse audiences
• Proficiency in Excel, accounting software, and data analysis
