Leading Auto Restyling Center is currently seeking experienced 12-Volt Installation Technicians to join our technical installation team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the integration, installation, and troubleshooting of aftermarket 12V systems for cars, trucks, RVs, boats, and more, with a deep understanding of vehicle electrical, CAN bus systems, and diagnostic tools.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform professional-grade installation of aftermarket 12 V electronics, including but not limited to:

  • Remote Start Systems
  • Alarm and security systems
  • GPS tracking and telematics
  • Audio/video systems and infotainment upgrades
  • Reverse cameras, sensors, dash cams, lighting systems
  • Power inverters, solar panels, and auxiliary battery setups
  • Bolt-on accessories

- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using multimeters, OBD-II scanners, and wiring diagrams.

- Interface with CAN bus and multiplex systems to ensure compatibility and proper signal routing.

- Route and secure wiring harnesses.

- Installation of OEM & aftermarket electronics and accessories.

- Adhere to safety standards and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices (e.g. MECP, SAE).

Required Qualifications:

- 1+ years of hands-on 12V installation experience in automotive, marine, RV, or fleet vehicles.

- Proficient with multimeters, power probes, and diagnostic software.

- Knowledge of DC electrical, relays, resistors, and load balancing.

- Ability to interpret OEM and aftermarket wiring diagrams.

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

- MECP certification is a plus, but not required.

- Candidates must have own tools.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience with fleet vehicle upfitting, commercial truck equipment, or emergency vehicle packages.

- Familiarity with marine-grade or RV systems.

- Experience integrating vehicle-specific harnesses and T-harness solutions.

- Custom fabrication, fiberglass, or enclosure building is a plus.

- Auto mechanical ability a plus.
