Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual General Labor or Production Line Lead to oversee the daily operations of our production line at food production facility. As the Production Line Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring that our food production process runs smoothly, efficiently, and meets our high standards of quality and safety. You will be responsible for supervising a team of operators and ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities for General Labor $15.50 ph
Be able to work 12 plus hour shifts.
Thurs, Fri, Saturday from 6am till 7pm.Be able to palletize and go to freezer areas.
Work in a fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities for Production Line Lead $17 or more DOE
Lead Production Operations:
Supervise and guide production team members to ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.Monitor Production Process:
Continuously monitor the production line for any operational issues or inefficiencies. Make adjustments as needed to maintain production targets and product quality.Ensure Quality Control:
Inspect products and processes to ensure that all food safety and quality guidelines are followed. Report any defects or non-compliance issues to the Quality Assurance team.Maintain Safety Standards:
Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures, ensuring that team members comply with all safety regulations and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).Train and Mentor Staff:
Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to production line workers to enhance skills, improve performance, and maintain a productive work environment.Track Production Metrics:
Record production data, including output levels, downtime, and operational issues. Report daily production metrics to the Production Supervisor.Problem-Solving:
Identify and resolve any production-related issues promptly, including equipment malfunctions, raw material shortages, and staff-related challenges.Ensure Proper Equipment Use and Maintenance:
Ensure production line equipment is operating efficiently and schedule or report maintenance as necessary to avoid production delays.Maintain Cleanliness and Organization:
Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the production area, ensuring compliance with sanitation and cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional certifications in food safety or production management preferred.Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a food production or manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
