Warehouse Specialist

Summary: Warehouse Specialist responsibilities include but not limited to: Material putaways, picking, packing, as well as shipping & receiving. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Included, but not limited to:

· Maintain all inventory in warehouse daily.

· Execute daily receiving process efficiently: Unload truck, verify material against packing slip, and receive material into computer system.

· Prepare orders for shipping, according to schedule: Pick, pack, check, wrap, label, ship, and process in the computer system.

· Sort and place material on racks, shelves, or in bins, according to organizational standards.

· Perform inventory cycle counts and keep quality standards high for audits.

· Report any concerns or discrepancies to management.

· Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.

· Wear the proper safety equipment.

· Comply with company policies and procedures, giving extra attention to safety regulations.

· Maneuver heavy material with the use of forklift and/or pallet jack, as required.

· Perform other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)

· 1-2 yrs. previous warehouse experience (preferred)

· Dependable and reliable

· Proficient in Inventory Management, Equipment Maintenance, and Data Entry

· Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

· Current forklift license (preferred)
