Blacksmith Helper - Open Die Forging Shop

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist blacksmiths in heating, positioning, and handling metal parts

• Use tools such as tongs, hammers, and presses

• Prepare and clean work areas and materials

• Follow safety procedures in a hot, industrial environment

Qualifications:

• Comfortable working in a heavy industrial setting

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

• Mechanically inclined and willing to learn

• Prior forge or metal shop experience is a plus

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

• Ability to read and follow instructions and safety procedures

• Able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

• Willingness to work various shifts as needed
