Lead Warehouse Associate

We have Immediate needs in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach for warehouse associates. Pay starting at $15.50 and up depending on experience. A clean background is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving and Processing Shipments: Inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage, sort and label items, and store them in designated locations according to inventory management protocols.
• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring safe handling to minimize damage and delays.
• Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels, updating records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Operating Equipment: Safely operated warehouse machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks to facilitate the movement of goods.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to hygiene and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills and Qualifications

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and fulfilling orders.
• Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.
• Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer operations.
• Safety Awareness: Understanding safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse environment
