General Labor - 1st and 2nd Shift

Solid surface manufacturer based in Massillon is seeking multiple talented and reliable general laborers to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis.

SHIFT: 1st (6a-2:30p) Mon-Fri.

2nd (2:30p-11p)

PAY: $16/hr. ($20/hr. upon hire in after ONLY 30 days)

Responsibilities

• MUST be able to read a tape measure and lift 50 pounds throughout the shift
• Sands solid surface fabricated pieces, panels and small shapes using both sanding machines and hand sanders
• Measures and inspects finished fabricated pieces or panels for conformance to quality requirements
• Prepares fabricated pieces for shipment to customer, including labeling in accordance with customer requirements or internal procedures
• Notifies management of sanding equipment that is need of repair
• Will cross train in other areas of solid surface manufacturing as well

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing or construction
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with simultaneous deadlines
• Ability to think on your feet, by assessing, planning and strategic troubleshooting
• Self-motivated and driven
• Experience with machinery and/or hand tools a plus
