Package Delivery Driver

We are an independent service provider for Fed Ex Ground offering pickup and delivery services to business and residential addresses.

We are seeking someone who:

-Is safe (both behind the wheel AND on foot!)

-Is customer service oriented 
-Works well both independently and as part of a team

**DELIVERY DRIVER EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!*

After a 90 day probationary period, if hired on permanently, full time employees are eligible for:

-Health & Dental Insurance

-Simple IRA

After 1 year of employment, a generous PTO allowance begins. Increasing again after 3 and 7 years!

-Professional driving experience in a larger work vehicle is REQUIRED! (Furniture delivery or package delivery in large vans/box trucks are a couple examples!)

-MUST be comfortable driving/maneuvering in a larger truck. Using cameras/mirrors and understanding the dimension of the vehicle you're driving is absolutely required as well!

-Must submit to a Motor Vehicle Report Check

-Must submit to a background check

-Must submit to a DOT-required physical and drug test

-Must be able to maneuver packages up to 150 lbs

-Must be 21 years of age or older

-Must be SAFE at all times — this includes behind the wheel, on foot, as well as lifting and maneuvering packages!

The Fed Ex terminal is located at 7322 Manufacturers Drive, Madison WI. (Across highway 51 from the Dane County Airport) Our drivers arrive at the terminal around 7:30 AM, and begin loading their trucks. Once Fed Ex dispatches is finished with the package sort, our drivers take off for the day to their assigned delivery areas.

We service 13 zip codes that spans about 80 miles from east to west! We're looking to find drivers who live closer to the Madison area who would take their truck back to the terminal at the end of the day, as well as drivers who live further from Madison and would take their truck home with them at the end of the day.
