Picker (2nd/3rd Shift)

Position Summary:

Responsible for reading product orders and selecting the correct items from the warehouse shelves before staging them for delivery. Duties include operating pallet jacks and other machinery including, but not limited to, carts and hand trucks, updating inventory counts and counting out the appropriate number of goods to fulfill an order.

Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:

¨       Collecting products listed on orders to fulfill deliveries.

¨       Picking out ordered items from storage shelves using barcodes, serial numbers, etc.

¨       Track orders by hand on paper until scanners are implemented.

¨       Assemble orders on pallets or as directed.

¨       Operating equipment according to industrial safety regulations.

¨       Loading delivery vehicles.

¨       Updating stock inventory after each item is retrieved.

¨       Managing stock control, including item replenishment and storage.

¨       Moves or lifts up to 75 lbs.

¨       Required to operate labeling equipment when needed.

¨       Employees shall follow all GMP and Food Safety requirements.

¨       Perform other duties as required or directed.

¨       Must be able to meet production standards or quotas for quantity, accuracy and efficiency.
