Note: This role requires 24 weeks of paid training in Columbus, Ohio prior to starting in Richmond.About the Role
As an Associate Installer, you'll independently install blinds and manage medium-difficulty commercial installation projects. Youll be a key player in building our reputation at this new location, supported by structured training and hands-on mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Lead on-site installations for commercial window treatment projects.
- Organize and maintain a warehouse space and inventory of blinds.
- Accurately read blueprints and interpret manufacturer specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shorten blinds as needed for a perfect fit.
- Maintain a clean, professional work environment on site.
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols.
- Complete job site reports documenting progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Travel to surrounding regions for jobs as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
- Window treatment installation experience strongly preferred.
- At least 612 months of related installation or construction experience.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring a small team is a plus.
- Comfortable using power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and measuring equipment.
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Regular use of ladders and scaffolding at varying heights.
- Comfortable working at heights and in physically active conditions.
- Occasional evenings/weekends based on project timelines.
Compensation details: 24-26 Hourly Wage
