Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position Overview
Were recruiting two travel pharmacists to support our Operations Pharmacist team in Montgomery, AL, with both positions on a 7-on/7-off rotation:
Position 1 Night Shift: 9:30 PM 8:00 AM
Position 2 Evening Shift: 10:00 AM 9:00 PM
Both roles work Sunday through Saturday in a flexible 7-on/7-off schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the Operations Pharmacist and primary pharmacist for the hospital
Manage daily operations and coordinate with pharmacy technicians
Provide remote order verification coverage for Baptist Prattville during overnight hours
Triage requests and collaborate closely with medical providers (no requirement for ER or emergency response)
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacist experience (NICU exposure is a strong plus)
Alabama pharmacist license required by interview, or already in process with mitment to obtain before start
Strong independent judgment, excellent munication, and teamwork skills
Departmental & Technological Support
Collaboration with multiple daytime pharmacists and two overnight operations pharmacists (tapering to one in the early morning)
Pharmacy technicians assisting around the clock
Integration with medical providers and full departmental support
Modern systems including EMR (Cerner), Omnicell, Sentri 7 surveillance, and IVX for sterile pounding visual verification
