Job Title: Cost Accounting Contractor
Length of Assignment: 1 year
Department: Global Shared Services (Finance)
Location: Austin, TX
Annual Salary Range: $89k-$120k
Schedule: Full Time/ Hybrid
Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
? Design & implement testing procedures for COGS recognition, inventory reporting, and item cost setups in ERP.
? Assist with the design of best practices of costing that reflects operations of individual business units.
? Set up ERP system to determine inventory categories (raw, WIP, FG) in an easily identifiable manner.
? Understand pain points in current costing processes including the manual processes and tracking of costs (material, labor, and overhead) across different business units.
? Collaborate cross-functionally with central operations on designing best practice allocation of overhead costs. Work with local manufacturing to ensure labor costs are correctly represented in item costs through the routings.
? Develop flexible reporting to better monitor slow inventory.
? Create reporting for tracking markup eliminations across the business.
? Communicate with IT on setup changes and manage project deadlines.

Education and/or Experience:
? Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
? Minimum of 4-7 years of accounting/finance experience
? Experience with ERP implementation
? Accounting knowledge preferred, specifically in cost accounting
Pay Details: $89,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
