We are looking for a meticulous and tech-savvy Payroll Clerk to join our team in Worcester, Massachusetts. In this role, you will oversee payroll processes, ensure data accuracy, and act as a vital link between clients and vendors. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in payroll systems.
Responsibilities:
• Process and submit payroll data to third-party vendors on a daily basis.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and vendors to ensure the accuracy of payroll information.
• Monitor payroll transactions and address discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify and resolve potential errors.
• Manage banking transactions, including reconciliation and issuing checks to employees.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure seamless data submissions and resolve any issues.
• Handle account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Work directly with clients to address payroll-related concerns and provide solutions.• Proven experience in payroll processing and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with bank reconciliations and handling payroll vendor relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data accurately.
• Proficiency in payroll systems and related software.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with clients and vendors.
• Ability to perform risk assessments and audits in payroll operations.
• Knowledge of compliance standards in payroll and financial transactions.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across departments to achieve common goals.
