Assignment Details:

• Location: Gloversville, NY

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Schedule: Nights 7:00 PM- 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT scans on patients, ensuring accurate and detailed imaging for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to analyze and interpret imaging results.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection measures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of procedures performed, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid New York state license as a CT Technologist.
• AART (R) (CT)
• BLS (AHA)
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience as a PET/CT Tech.
• You'll play a vital role in the diagnostic imaging department, performing CT scans for a variety of patient needs.
• Responsibilities include patient positioning, image acquisitionand quality control procedures.
• Strong technical skills in operating CT equipment and software, with knowledge of protocols and procedures.
• CT quality control, aseptic techniques, patient positioning, and safety procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
