Warehouse Custodian

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?  

The warehouse custodian is tasked with maintaining a clean and safe work environment for all employees at Trepco Sales Co.  To accomplish this task, the right candidate will use a combination of manual and power cleaning tools to ensure that the warehouse, office space, restrooms, garage and overall property are cleaned on a routine schedule.  We are looking for someone is willing to “own” this process and takes pride in their work and is able to work independently throughout the day.

What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization? 

Safety is at the forefront of everything we do and this position has a direct impact on the safety of every employee.  Quickly reacting to spills will prevent slip and fall accidents.  Regularly changing garbage cans prevents blocked walkways.  These are just two examples of how this position impacts the safety of everyone at Trepco.

Characteristics & Experience Required 

• Previous Experience Working in a Warehouse Environment
• Comfortable working in an environment containing tobacco and nicotine items
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-directed and Proactive
• Team Player

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to twist and pivot comfortably without restriction

BENEFICIAL 

• Knowledge of various convenience retail goods  
• Experience operating a floor scrubber 

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 18 years or older
• Able to comfortably lift 50 lbs
