The Opportunity:
We’re looking to add a Remote Estimator with the experience, drive, and insight to help shape the future of our new division. This role is more than just crunching numbers, it’s an opportunity to influence processes, build systems, and help define how our estimating team operates going forward.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare accurate, competitive, and timely cost estimates for industrial electrical and field service projects

• Interpret project drawings, specifications, and scope of work documents

• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure complete and competitive proposals

• Identify and evaluate potential project risks and opportunities

• Contribute to the development of estimating procedures and tools for a growing division

• Maintain a database of unit costs, subcontractor and vendor quotes, and project data

• Help refine proposal strategies and presentation of bids to clients

• Participate in post-bid reviews and project handoffs to operations

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in estimating commercial electrical projects

• Strong knowledge of NEC, electrical systems, labor factors, and material takeoffs

• Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Trimble, or similar), Microsoft Excel, and project documentation

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying connected to the team

• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills

• A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes and building teams

• Bonus if you’ve helped build or scale estimating processes in a previous role
