Position Overview: Valley View Medical Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to support surgical services during day shifts. This position offers an opportunity to work in a high-performing perioperative environment alongside a multidisciplinary surgical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing operating rooms and surgical instruments according to procedure requirements
• Provide intraoperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Monitor patient vitals, assess responses to anesthesia, and ensure safety throughout the procedure
• Maintain sterile technique and enforce infection control protocols
• Document patient care and procedure details accurately in EMR systems
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to support positive surgical outcomes
• Support patient transfer, pre-op, and post-op recovery processes as needed

Qualifications:

• Active RN license valid in Arizona or eligibility for compact state licensure
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Proficient in OR procedures including general surgery, orthopedic, and laparoscopic cases
• Strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and attention to detail
