Cable Installer, Low Voltage Cabler, Fiber Optics, CAT6

We are seeking an Experienced Fiber Optic and CAT6A Cable Installer to become a part of our team! You will be responsible for running, terminating and testing Fiber Optic Cable, CAT5 and CAT6 cables.

***MUST BE ABLE TO PASS COMPLETE BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST***

***MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS AND TRANSPORTATION***

Responsibilities:

• Trace existing pathways by toning and tagging cables.
• Create new pathways through various construction materials.
• Install, Terminate, Fusion Splice Fiber Optic Cable.
• Terminate, Test and label CAT6A cables.
• Install and paint exterior conduit.
• Install J-Hooks and other cable support items.
• Work in attics, drop ceilings, outside, on lifts and other items.

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in telecommunications, CAT5e, CAT6 and Fiber
• Previous experience installing conduit, j-hooks and other infrastructure items.
• All your own tools, ladders and other things related to the trade.
• Familiarity with telecommunications equipment
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
