Job Description
Job Summary: The BCBA is responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based behavior-analytic services to clients, their families, and support teams. This includes conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, supervising and training direct care staff and caregivers, and continuously monitoring client progress to ensure effective and ethical intervention.

Full Time = Salary $90,000 to $100,000 per year
Part Time = Hourly $85.00 to $100 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Evaluation:
Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including functional behavior assessments (FBAs), skill assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS), and preference assessments, to identify the function of challenging behaviors and current skill levels.
Analyze assessment data to inform the development of individualized treatment goals and intervention strategies.
Treatment Planning and Implementation:
Design and develop individualized, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each client's unique needs, strengths, and goals.
Establish measurable goals and objectives for skill acquisition and behavior reduction.
Oversee the implementation of treatment plans by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs), and other direct care staff.
Continuously monitor client progress through data collection and analysis, making data-based decisions to adjust and modify treatment plans as needed.
Supervision and Training:
Provide direct and indirect supervision to RBTs, BCaBAs, and other staff implementing ABA interventions, ensuring fidelity to treatment plans and ethical practices.
Train direct care staff on ABA principles, techniques, data collection, and specific client programs.
Provide parent and caregiver training, empowering them with strategies to support their loved one's progress and generalize skills across environments.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals (e.g., speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychiatrists) to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to treatment.
Communicate client progress, challenges, and recommendations clearly and professionally in both written reports and verbal discussions.
Attend and participate in team meetings, IEP/ISP meetings, and other relevant gatherings.
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely client records, including assessment reports, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing documentation, in compliance with ethical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Adhere to the ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Professional Development:
Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and advancements in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis through continuing education, workshops, conferences, and professional literature.
Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree or higher in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field from an accredited university. Preferred but Certification is most important.
Certification: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Experience:
Minimum of [e.g., 1-2 years] of experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a BCBA.
Experience conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and supervising staff.
Skills:

Ability to manage a caseload effectively and prioritize tasks.
