OB Hospitalist Locums Physician - California

Cover labor and delivery in sunny California with flexible 24-hour shifts and no clinic responsibilities.

Highlights:

• 24-hour shifts available - 12-hour options possible
• Only emergent GYN - no outpatient or clinic work
• Choose from up to 30 shifts per month

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient hospital with Level III NICU
• 24/7 in-house anesthesia support
• Family medicine residents on site
• Community physicians back up multiple cases

Schedule:

• Multiple shifts per month - your choice
• 24-hour model preferred; 12-hour shifts may be possible
• Block scheduling may be accommodated based on program needs

Cases and Procedures:

• Labor and delivery coverage only
• Emergent GYN coverage as needed
• ~4,690 annual deliveries at the hospital
• ~49 unassigned OBHG deliveries annually

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years) in OB/GYN
• Active California license required

Travel Accommodations:

• All travel included: airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage
• No out-of-pocket travel costs
