The Principal Analytics Presales Architect (AI/ML) Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect / Solution Engineer specializing in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to join our team (Analytics Presales Architects). A successful candidate will have demonstrated experience translating business requirements to AI / ML solutions for customers and prospects, preferably in a pre-sale capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for designing cutting-edge AI/ML solutions that address complex business challenges and drive tangible value. Your expertise will encompass executive-level presentations, custom demos, in-depth technical discussions with experts, and serving as an internal champion for the future direction of Qliks AI vision. The Analytics Presales Architect team at Qlik are a group of Subject Matter Experts who serve as go-to technical resources during sales cycles, product evangelists for Qliks platform, and who collaborate across Sales, Marketing, R&D, Product Management, Consulting and Customer Success teams.

- Support business development efforts: Play a key role in driving sales strategy with your Solution Architect and Account Manager counterparts.
- Position solutions for long-term success: Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to senior leadership, ensuring alignment on the value and impact of Qliks solutions.
At least 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales and/or consulting capacity
Technical
- Strong experience in AI and/or ML Platforms and technologies, including but not limited to AI Agents, Large Language Models, commercial (e.g. AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex, etc) or non-commercial (e.g. python frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, etc). Emphasis on translating use case to technology to solution.
- Strong analytic problem-solving experience which applies technical solutions into a competitive marketplace
- Practical experience of deploying AI and/or ML solutions with preference for experience in AI-ready data pipelines and/or ML Ops
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services
- Good to have: experience with Business Intelligence / Analytics / SQL / Data Modeling and/or Data Integration
- Strong experience in managing complex sales cycles for large enterprises
- Good understanding of the intersection of AI/ML solutions in analytics use cases
- Exceptional ability to create and deliver executive-level presentations, positioning complex technical solutions in a clear, business-aligned manner.
- Track record of developing relationships at technical, commercial, and executive levels throughout large enterprises
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex opportunities
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25%
- Ability to travel internationally, if required

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $150,000 $172,500 per year. (This position is eligible for a commission within a range of $50,000 - $57,500 subject to meeting targets set forth in a sales compensation plan. Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidates location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Qlik offers a comprehensive benefits package.
