Job Description
We are looking for an Accounting Consultant to join our team on a contract basis in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting workforce planning, financial analysis, and budgetary processes. This position requires a meticulous individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to handle confidential information effectively.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the financial planning team to ensure budget forecasts align with short- and long-term organizational goals.
• Conduct detailed workforce analysis, including headcount assessments and cost projections for internal and contract staff.
• Manage weekly position control reconciliations and approve budgets for submitted requisitions.
• Validate workforce data to ensure alignment with expected outcomes using position control tools.
• Prepare monthly workforce allocation reports and ensure proper data management within allocation tables.
• Generate and submit workforce planning reports to support forecasting, budgeting, and actuals tracking processes.
• Assist in GL mapping and allocation table alignment to maintain financial accuracy.
• Develop workforce datasets and reports that support annual budget cycles, including salary impact assessments.
• Identify and implement process improvements related to position control data management and reporting.
• Support recruitment alignment with organizational initiatives and assist in intermittent budget forecasts.• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools, including Tableau and R Code.
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Experience in workforce planning, including headcount analysis and cost projections.
• Knowledge of budget preparation, reconciliation, and financial forecasting processes.
• Familiarity with data validation and systems such as Snowflake.
• Ability to handle confidential salary information with discretion.
• Excellent organizational skills and experience with process improvement initiatives.
• Prior experience preparing datasets and reports for financial planning and analysis.
