School Social Worker - Aurora, IL

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Social Worker position is available for the 2025-2026 school year at an elementary school serving Kindergarten through 5th grade students. This contract role runs from August 13, 2025, through May 28, 2026, and is located in Aurora, Illinois.

Responsibilities:

• Provide social work services to students, families, and school staff to support academic and social-emotional development
• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and deliver counseling as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and munity resources to address students needs
• Promote a safe and supportive school environment for all children
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services provided

Qualifications:

• Current Illinois Licensed Social Worker credential
• Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois
• Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
• Strong munication and organizational skills
• Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel
