Front of the House (Cashier, dining room and Expediting Table) Job Description

This job role is vital to the success of Shane’s Rib Shack. Front of the House positions include Packing and running food, ringing up customers, being familiar with Point of Sale, customer service with dine in customers and phone orders. FOH Staff members must be able to perform all duties in all areas of the Front of the House to ensure excellent customer service and fresh food in a timely manner.

Front of the House Qualifications

• Self-starter with ‘Whatever It Takes’ attitude and high sense of urgency

• Customer service oriented with exceptional communication skills

• Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate teamwork skills

• Personal cleanliness

• Ability to multi-task

• Acts with integrity, honesty & knowledge that promotes the culture, values & mission of Shane’s Rib Shack.

• Staff members must be able to perform all duties in all areas of the FOH to ensure fresh food, quality and speed of service

• Listens to other BOH staff to call for items needed from his/her area

• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep the store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team

• Maintain a detailed knowledge of Shane’s Rib Shack’s products and menu

• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

• 16 years or older
