What your day will look like:
- Inspecting parts coming off of paint line
- Prepare metal surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, or applying pretreatment chemicals.
- Operate spray guns and electrostatic equipment to apply powder coatings to metal parts and products.
- Using the computer to gather part specifications
- Packaging of parts
- Will be cross trained in other areas as needed
- Load and unload parts onto the paint line conveyor system
- Inspect, clean, and prepare parts prior to coating
- Oversee the painting process to ensure quality and consistency
- Perform touch-ups and minor rework as necessary
What we are looking for:
- Previous Paint/Powder Coating experience
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Adaptable to working in a high-energy, industrial setting
- Strong attention to detail and basic mechanical skills
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and capable of standing for entire shift.
