We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. This position will involve supporting a manufacturing environment, ensuring the seamless operation of workstations, software, and hardware systems. Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for desktop hardware, software, and workstation systems within the manufacturing facility.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
• Maintain and manage Active Directory user accounts and permissions.
• Perform desktop imaging and configuration to ensure consistent system setups.
• Utilize ticketing systems to document, track, and resolve technical incidents.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver timely resolutions to IT-related challenges.
• Implement updates and patches to ensure systems remain secure and operational.
• Assist in the setup and deployment of new hardware across the facility.
• Diagnose and repair desktop hardware issues to minimize downtime.
• Deliver excellent customer service while addressing end-user concerns and queries.
• Part time work is available for a flexible schedule, between 20-40 hours per week.
• Proven experience in desktop support, preferably in a manufacturing environment.• Proficiency with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
• Knowledge of Active Directory management and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with desktop imaging processes and tools.
• Strong understanding of PC desktop hardware and workstation systems.
• Hands-on experience with ticketing systems for issue tracking and resolution.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and end users.
